I have a heartfelt desire to support you in accessing your deep inner wisdom. Years of practicing the physical and more subtle arts of yoga and meditation have shown me the inner peace that comes from mindfulness in movement and in stillness. In the last two decades, new discoveries in neuroscience have confirmed and added to known Eastern philosophy: we contain an immense healing capacity within us and yet we need relational safety for that healing to ignite. Whether through integrated psychotherapy, yoga, or contemplative retreats, Mind Body Wellness ATX would love to be a part of your wellness journey.
Kim’s Integrated Approach to Psychotherapy
I lean on a science-based framework of healing that is non-pathologizing, experiential, and rooted in relationship. I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, with an advanced understanding of how the brain/nervous system operates. I am uniquely suited to support you in recovering from complex trauma in an embodied and holistic way. I utilize many forms of expressive arts, breathwork, and movement to encourage an environment of self discovery.
