Clinical Consulting

Often the clients most in need of treatment don’t respond to standard protocols, leaving them without the care they need. Most therapists aren’t trained in experiential modalities to support real change for these clients. Kim cares deeply about sharing the ins and outs of experiential methods to fellow clinicians and has been consulting since 2021. In addition to offering individual/dyad consultation calls, Kim created a yearly training/consultation cohort called The Heart of Therapy. As a STAIR certified practitioner, Kim leans into an organized framework that supports an understanding of skills and ideas to utilize during therapy at any stage.

Kim helps other therapists deepen their understanding of neuroscience-based approaches and experiential trauma-focused therapies. She specializes in helping fellow clinicians expand their understanding of somatic work, Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD), and the importance of strategies for survival learned early in life, like dissociation . Through working together, clinicians learn new ways to treat complex cases they may have previously turned away and expand their capacity to support their people.
